Describe yourself in 5 words or less

Inquisitive. Bilingual. Challenge-seeker. Moderate. Trivia

How do you spend your time outside of work?

I spend most of my time with my wife and two children. I enjoy cooking and baking and offset those interests with road cycling and running. I ran St. George Marathon last year and am planning on running the Stockholm Marathon next summer.

What did you do pre-Cicero, and what brought you to the firm?

After business school at Stockholm University, I worked for the U.S. Commercial Service at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm where we advised U.S. companies doing business in Sweden. Following that, I worked for Qualtrics, a provider of market research software. I came to Cicero because I wanted apply market research tools and skills I had learned at Qualtrics to solve real business problems for companies.

What are some interesting things you’ve been working on lately?

I just finished up a project forecasting sales for a local Utah company. Prior to that I worked with a digital media and newspaper organization to understand the media landscape and where they fit in.

What else makes Cicero a great place to work?

The colleagues at Cicero are incredible. Everyone is eager to help out and share knowledge which makes this a very pleasant environment to work at.

For fun, any book/movie/music recommendations?

parov-stelar

I like to listen to podcast while I bike work. This American Life and Freakonomics are well made and insightful. In terms of music recommendations, check out Parov Stelar. He’s an Austrian DJ and one of the pioneers of electro swing music.
